lastpass was unable to contact the login server firefox

I’ve tried the suggested fixes and even removed/reinstalled the Lastpass extension. It’s happening on multiple systems with Firefox, Opera, Edge and Chrome. I get the same red banner with the unable to contact the server message. One of my passwords has expired and I need to update LastPass with the new password, but it can’t get through.

As of today I can’t login to Lastpass with Firefox using either the extension or direct to the Lastpass website in the browser. I submit my email and password and receive the SMS passcode for 2FA but nothing happens.
