Through parenting education and community-based family programs, we are that support, representing a real opportunity for children—no matter their circumstances—to learn, to thrive, and to succeed.

Our goal is to prevent child maltreatment, break generational patterns of abuse and neglect, reduce the impact of childhood trauma, and support the development of stable, strong families who are able to keep their children safe and thriving at home.

The Family Nurturing Center provides a safe, home-like environment for non-custodial parents to visit their children under supervision. In this way, parents are able to maintain contact with their children while they address the issues that led to DCF intervention in their lives.

Family Nurturing Center offers free programs for families in low income neighborhoods to help parents and caregivers improve their parenting skills and enhance the cognitive and social development of their children.

Family Nurturing Center is the only organization in Massachusetts recognized to train Nurturing Program facilitators. With the additional space now available, we are able to host more trainings for non-profits and government agencies from other communities to adopt the Nurturing Parenting model.

Parenting Services. Nurturing Parenting Programs are family based parenting education programs that help families establish a nurturing way of life. Parents and children attend together so that all family members can benefit from participation in the program.
