Important Login Information. Before entering your University Computing Account credentials, verify that the URL for this page begins with: passport.pitt.edu .

Log in to canvas.pitt.edu to view your courses, become more familiar with Canvas tools and features, and start creating your course content. The Teaching Center serves as an information hub–posting resources, tutorials, and news and updates on the Learning Management System website at teaching.pitt.edu.

If you need some custom guidance on a course, project, Canvas integration, or other educational software topic you can submit a consultation request. In order to provide our services to as many faculty as possible, we ask that everyone please limit their consultation requests to 2-3 hours per academic term.

As previously announced, CourseWeb (Blackboard Learn) will be fully retired and no longer available later this term. Students and faculty should download any remaining copies of content from the University’s legacy LMS before Friday, Dec. 11, at 11 p.m.

Late in the fall 2020 term, CourseWeb will be fully retired and no longer be available. Details are available at teaching.pitt.edu/canvas . You can log in to canvas.pitt.edu at any time to become comfortable with the interface and menu structure.
