Completing a factory reset on a Yealink SIP phone restores the original configuration and in most cases defaults the password back to admin. The steps below work for most Yealink SIP phones including the following models, T20P, T22P, T26P, T28P, T32G, and T38G.

Open a web browser on your computer, enter the IP address into the address bar (e.g., “http://192.168.0.10” or “192.168.0.10”) and then press the Enter. Enter the user name (default: admin) and password (default: admin) in the login page and click Login.

The default username and password for almost all Yealink devices is username: admin and password: admin. If your phone has already been provisioned by Globe2’s auto-provisioning server then the password will have been changed.

After the base station has been reset to factory settings, can you log in to the base station with the default username/password: admin/admin? If this is not possible, your telephone provider may have blocked this.

Customizing Your Phone Default Account To configure the default account via phone user interface: Press Menu->Features->Others->Default Account. Press , or the Switch soft key to select the desired account.

The default administrator password is “admin”. For security reasons, you should change the default administrator password as soon as possible. To change the administrator password via phone user interface: ->Advanced (default password: admin) ->Change Password.
